Crowning Cultural Ambassadors: Fayza Kriddache and Kawtar Elhilali Shine as Miss Argan Morocco
In the first edition of Miss Argan Morocco in 2022, Fayza Kriddache, a native of Guelmim in southern Morocco, became the first Miss Argan Morocco in 2022. At just 23, she not only impressed with her beauty but also with her intellect, holding a master’s degree in finance. Her win spotlighted her desire to advocate for Moroccan culture and heritage, especially through community-driven projects.
In the second edition of Miss Argan Morocco in 2023, Kawtar Elhilali, a 24-year-old of Berber descent from Taroudant province, took the crown. With a degree in English literature, Kawtar is well-known for her Facebook videos that celebrate Amazigh poetry. Her in-depth knowledge of Moroccan culture, particularly the significance of the argan tree, played a key role in her victory, reflecting her commitment to preserving and promoting her heritage.
